There simply are not many grand moments of life, and we surely don't live life in those moments.  No, we live in the utterly mundane.  We exist in the bathrooms, bedrooms, living rooms, and hallways of life.  This is where the character of our life is set.  This is where we live the life of faith."

Things I want to remember about this week: He rolled over for the first time--hooray!  He did it twice in one night, but hasn't done it again since.  It's ridiculously funny the little rush of pride I feel every time he figures out something new.  He's decided that sticking his tongue out over and over and over again is the most interesting thing in the world right now.  He does it all day long, and whenever he's in front of the mirror he'll do it and then start laughing at himself like it's the funniest thing.  He had his biggest laughing fit to date about 4 nights ago, I was getting him ready for bed and when I unzipped his footie pajama's he started laughing so hard and then every time I zipped or unzipped them he would belly laugh.  I wish we had video of him doing it, but Josh and I were so caught up with laughing at how funny and cute he was being that it didn't happen.  It would appear that the teething days have begun, so we've had several very tearful days in a row.  Oh, and his first upright stroller ride happened this week!  Just for a few minutes when we went to get the mail one afternoon, but he loved it!

Today: Early morning cries because it's hard to sleep when your nose is all stuffed up. I love that snuggles and nursing can make everything all better.  He fell back asleep in the boppy and we both slept until almost 9... happy happy me.  We took daddy to work and went to Judahloves 4 month checkup, which unfortunately included his first vaccinations.  I think it was harder on me than it was on him, he cried for about 30 seconds and then snuggled his little face in my shoulder and started to fall asleep.  Again, there's really no better feeling than rescuing your baby.  Nana, Uncle Lawson, and Auntie Em cam over for the afternoon, we got to watch Uncle Luke and Uncle Sam play basketball after dinner, and then stayed up past a certain someones bedtime because he was so talky and wiggly.
